Guests who choose to enter the water must always consider their own health, experience and the conditions on the day. Swimming or dipping is entirely optional. You are very welcome to enjoy the sauna without going into the lake.

Inside the sauna, the heat encourages you to slow down and be present. Outside, fresh Scottish air and views across the water complete the experience.
You do not need to be an experienced sauna user or wild swimmer to visit. Come on your own, bring a friend or make it part of a relaxing day in the Trossachs.

The sauna is located within the grounds of Karma Lake of Menteith, a characterful hotel overlooking the water.
Sauna guests can make more of their visit by enjoying food or refreshments at the hotel. Wild Sauna Company guests currently receive a discount off food and beverages in the hotel bar and restaurant, making it easy to turn your session into a relaxed morning, afternoon or evening beside the lake.
You may wish to enjoy coffee before your session, have lunch afterwards or stay for dinner while looking out over the water.

What to Bring to the Sauna
We recommend arriving prepared for the changing Scottish weather. Useful items include:
- Swimwear
- Two towels, with one for sitting on inside the sauna
- A robe or warm changing layer
- Water for drinking
- Easy to remove footwear
- Warm clothing for afterwards
- A bag for wet items
